my iphone 4s keeps on dropping calls

My first one did this. It was dropping almost every call, I changed out the sim and that did not solve the issue. Also people were not always getting my voicemail, and when I would call someone, they either couldn't hear me, or the call was all broken up and I would have to call them a 2nd time to have a clear connection. I tolerated it for a month, and then AT&T and Apple said I needed to exchange my phone. So far this issue hasn't happened since I got the new one Monday. I have to use it more and see. It can't be the network because my boyfriends 4S is perfectly fine.

Oh yes -- my 4s drops calls on a regular basis. Just called Apple support and they seem to think it's AT&T issue. I reset my phone & still get dropped calls. I am getting sick of it.

Well my new one is perfect. I have used it a ton now. Perfect connection. No dropped calls at all. No interference. My blue tooth even sounds better. I was dropping calls constantly with my last one. Non stop. So it definitely is not AT&T. I was sick of it to. I never had that many dropped calls. I tried resetting mine to and even got a new sim card. Nothing worked until I got a new phone.

I made an appointment @ the Genius Bar today so we will see what they can do. I never had this many problems with my Blackberry. Love the iPhone but hate the problems I have with it -- you would think they would have all the bugs worked out. Hope I can get this problem solved soon....

same here in the netherlands i orderd my iphone 4s online in the UK and im using it for 5 weeks now , a lot of dropt calls and after that the iphone freezes, just talkt to apple support and they said restore it, reset network setting. if it doesnt work ill get a new one.......

I did the resets -- didn't work. That is why I am going to the Genius Bar to see what they think -- hopefully I will be walking out of there with a new, PROBLEM-FREE phone.

i'll try mine tomorrow and hope it wil have no problems, on a dutch forum they also mention to put the network to manual on your provider and not automatic...... thats the thing i want to try.

I have not dropped one call now, the connections are so clear, no issues what so ever with the new one. I been using it non stop, so it had to be the phone I had, plus no one else was dropping cals except for me. Hope you all can get this resolved.

I have a new phone and so far no calls have failed....yet I still have that far away/underwater sound when I call my son & my husband(who have ringback tones). The tones start out clear but then they sound like they are underwater and far away. Maybe it's the ringback tones not being compatable with iPhone 4s as my Blackberry sounded fine. You would think that Apple out of all the phone companies would have everything like this under control and not have such issues as failed calls & audio problems. I am keeping my fingers crossed that this new phone will be ok..........but I have my doubts.

I exchanged my first one for dropping calls non stop. My 2 nd one the battery was horrible. My 3rd one the screen was very yellow and I was so unhappy. But I am not dropping any calls now at all and I have very clear reception now.
