When I try to connect to App Store I get a red Connection failed after entering ID and PW. What is going on? Using OS X 10.6.8

Restart your Mac after the combo is installed. Try the App Store.
I reinstalled MAC OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo and can now sign in to App Store. When I try to download anything I get the following:

INSTALL_ERROR_DISTRIBUTION_SIGNED_BY_APPLE
Same problem here, in addition to the error "Can not connect to App Store" when I want to log in or when I click the updates button. Apple support gives a lame answer, which does not connect to my complaint.
