I've never had a problem before but my Media browser is not displaying text, LiveType, effects, objects etc. All the options work and I am working from memory but would really like to see them again. Does anyone have any suggestions? It feels like a preferences problem but I can't figure it out...

Do you see the LiveType Media folder with content when you look in Finder:
If not, it hasn't been installed correctly or was moved.
If it was only moved, open LiveType > Preferences:
Click the + button at bottom left and navigate to the new location.
Thanks for getting back. I have all the elements where they are supposed to be and they do work in the application. I can apply them, I just can't see the preview of the effects, textures etc in the Media Browser....
I haven't seen that problem before.
Trashing LiveType prefs would be a good start:
Users/your name/Library/Preferences. com.apple.LiveType.plist is the one you need to remove.
Thanks Nick. I relocated the prefs and also trashed the other prefs and neither worked. It's weird because a very few objects do appear but 99% don't. Text is there but Livefonts aren't. I'm going to have to reinstall the software because I've tried everything I can think of....
