Why would you think it isn't possible? Might you be more specific as your question's wording is unclear.

If you're asking if Apple will donate an iPad, then no, they probably won't. Your best bet would be to contact local Apple resellers in your community and see if one of them would consider donating an iPad to your organization.

I am at an Apple Store as we speak and I asked them the same question and they told me to write to Apple about a possible Ipad donation to my non-profit organization.

You can certainly do so, but you may well never receive a reply. As I said back in 2011 when this thread was last active, local companies will be your best bet. Apple undoubtely gets hundreds if not thousands of requests for donations each year.

Absolutely, and you should contact Apple directly, and not post in a user forum. You can call Apple at its main phone number, during normal working hours. Too, you could apple for a grant at the local and state level.

Looking to see if Apple would make any type of donation for a school fundraiser.
