Q: Responding to text messages or imessages with a long reply

Hello!

I have a 32gb white iPhone 4s running the latest ios5.

I love the new keyboard hide feature however I have encountered another problem/bug.

When writing a long text message to someone, the writing area covers the whole screen and hides the message history. This can be a pain when responding to a long text message.

Is it possible for me to view previous interchanged messages while typing my own long response?

for example:

Tom texts Andy 20 qustions in one long text message.

Andy wants to respond, so as he starts typing the answers to the first few questions he can remember, then however he starts seeing less and less of what tom had sent him due to the writing scrolling up and covering the original text that had the questions in it.

Is it possible for Andy to see Toms original long text and at the same time simultaneously write his own long response.............?

(When I say a long text message, I mean a text message that can't be fully displayed on the screen and requires you to scroll)

thank you

If you are confused or don't understand what I'm talking about, just start writing a long text message and you will soon see that your writing covers the whole screen (preventing you from seeing older messages).
