my iphone in itunes keeps telling me to restore and now i can't get my music and podcast to my iphone

Itunes keeps telling me to restore my Iphone4 and now I can't get my music or podcast back into my phone. Every time I plug my phone into the computer it says restore. Now what?

iPhone 4, iOS 5.0.1
