how can i get a belkin bluetooth usb adapter model number F8T012xx1 working with my imac, no my imac does not have bluetooth because it is an education version that came without it. Please help I cannot find the update...

Does your system preferences even have the bluetooth preference pane? If so, then theoretically you should be able to just plug the dongle in and pair with your bluetooth devices.
No it doesn't have internal bluetooth and the computer recognizes the adapter but nothing will connect. I figured out the answer it's not compatible. Thanks though
FWIW, I do have internal BT on my mac pro but I use a IOGear GBU421 dongle instead. So it is compatible.
Let's not get into why I use it in place of the mac pro's internal BT. Not pertinent here.
