Hi all. I need to set up a live streaming room.
I figure I need a webcam on a tripid and a microphone close to the subject also.
Can anyone recomend a suitable HD web camera and a seperate mic for Mac?
Officeworks here in Australia stocks all windows gear only.
May I ask why? I'm assuming your MacBook has an iSight camera.

FYI I need a web cam so as to get closer to the subjecy via a tripod. The laptop camera is not suitable for this.

I understand your circumstance. More than one camera and mic is often necessary in large rooms or at long, narrow seatings like at large conference tables. The flexibility afforded by more than one camera and mic can REALLY improve video in such locations. I am sure you will get some great results!
