Network location of my iTunes library is lost most of the times

i have my library on a mac mini running osx lion server. When I start my iMac and choose iTunes the connection to the network drive is lost most of the times and iTunes tries to find my music on the local drive. Any idea how to avoid this?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.7), 2.93 Ghz Intel Core i/, 16 GB RAM
