Lyrics won't update when sync iPod touch. Only updates in iTunes.

Lyrics will update in iTunes, when sync iPod touch update will not show up, but only the original lyrics.

I pasted lyrics from a website, forgot to check and when I went back to edit, it only edits the itunes lyrics but not the itouch after syncing.

So far I have tried:

1) Unselect and reselect the songs.

2) Cut the lyrics out, paste in document, change font to "courier" and paste back into iTunes

3) Changed ID3 tages to v2.2

4) Turned of lyrics and podcast in iTouch and then turned back on.

5) Installed the latest software updates for iTunes.

Itouch model MC544LL

version 5.0.1 (9A405)

Does anyone know what else I can try to do?

iPod touch, iOS 5.0.1

I have the same problem, if you delete the song completely out of itunes and into recycling bin and re-add the song it works.... but i'm only doing it for the songs that have problems. It is quite annoying, I'm hoping it's a bug that apple will be able to fix.
