iPhone 4 general settings

Hi, I recently bought a iPhone 4 from abroad and brought it back to the UK (it is unlocked), The phone is never picked up by iTunes, it can't enter recovery mode and I noticed whenI got to Settings>Genreal I only have four options

Security Settings

Phone Settings

Accelerometer Settings

Restore factory settings.

When I try the last one it asks me for a password and I don't know what it is, i was wondering if anyone knew what is wrong with it?
