i am stuck on blind assist. how to get out?

William I am sure you have already figured this out, but for everyone else:

Click the HOME button THREE times.

Hilarious that you would think there was no way out, and your phone was bricked.

By "blind assist" I assume you mean that it is saying everything that appears on the screen and every key you touch. This is called VoiceOver and you can turn it off under Settings > General > Accessibility.

i tried hitting the home button three times but im still stuck in the blind mode

Hilarious -- because once you're in 'blind mode,' you cannot scroll through menus, which means that the place in 'settings' where you can turn this off is inaccessible.

Have blind people not complained about this? I'm 100% stuck, my phone is basically bricked now.

You can connect your device to the computer and iTunes and disable Accessibility. See this support document http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3577. This will help prevent them from being accidentally being activated.

Thank you for that great tip, I was stuck in this mode for the second time and it was so easy to get out. Does it go into this mode through a short cut aswell?
