My iphone 4 suddenly not synching or showing up under devices in itunes. iPad works fine with either remote or connected synch. Has anyone experienced this?

If your phone is updated to iOS5 and your iTunes isn't updated to the 10.5(.1), it will not recognize your phone. I would first make sure your computer is recognizing it and if so, reinstall/update iTunes. If your computer fails to recognize it, you need to update/reinstall your apple mobile device drivers on the computer.

By the sound of it I have a similar problem and have also posted a question.
For me it is Iphone 4S and Ipad 2 - so two devices.
They are picked up under my computer but not Itunes/devices. I've also noticed that Itunes store doesnt open?
I don't have a solution either sadly.
Both my deviced IoS6 and itunes are up to date - think it must be an Itunes issue, but see no suggestions from the Big Apple 😟
Eureka! Solved it with the solution from Danny Young, I'd also perfomed a system restore on my laptop to no avail, then tried Danny's suggestion. Note, it also solved the problem of my itunes store not opening. Yay!!
