This is now the second time a fellow Mac user is unable to mount and/or open a CD-R burned on my MacBookPro running Snow Leopard 10.6.8!

no CD icon will not show up in finder/desktop and upon opening iTunes, the program alerts of a blank cd inserted

- and here's the strangest issue: that same CD-R can be read fine on a PC computer!

What is going on here?

Is there a workaround to burn universally readable CDs in Snow Leopard?

Would hate to waste more CD-R disks to try and figure out myself ...
