ipod nano recall

I got my Apple Product Replacement Request number by E-mail on Nov. 14th, but i still haven´t received the shipping materials for the return... what should I do?

I was actually wondering the same thing...

Sent in my request on the same day. Still haven't recieved anything to ship it back in either.

box for mine hasn't arrived either. so much for 2 days...hoping it doesn't catch fire while it's strapped to my arm!

Hey same issue here. I called the support number today, and they said that they had unexpectedly run out of the return boxes, but that they ordered more and would be sending them this week.

Not to bum everyone out further, but... Gizmodo reported on the 19th that Apple is replacing the recalled Nanos with the exact refurbished model, not the updated touch as previously reported. Boo. Guess it's still a new, shiny Nano that won't burn-up, right?

Same here. I signed up for the replacement on November 13 and received an email the next day stating, "Within two business days, you should receive a package at this address."

They ran out of boxes... really??? Good grief, it isn't as if they don't know how many of these were sold. 😉

If it's a refurbished Nano like reported, I can't say I'm all that anxious to get it. I already bought a new 6th gen about a month before they emailed me about the recall. Oh well.

Order submitted Nov 14. Still have not received a box. Status still in Step One and only says request received. Is it worth a call to customer service or not....?

I can't imagine you'll get any more info than, "You'll probably get it anyday now". FYI, I submitted mine on the 13th, and my box finally showed up yesterday.

Same situation here. I made the request on 11/12/11, and still haven't received a box. Maybe instead of "2 days," they really meant to say "4 weeks," or "eventually..."

Still waiting on a box. Sent request on Nov 14th. Anybody still out there waiting like me?
