I'm using an iPhone 4s and got it a week ago. but I noticed that the notes icon had disappeared. it said notes and you could use it and all but the icon picture is gone. this also happened with an app i downloaded and the itunes app (which at the time of this post is still missing) does anybody have any ideas whats going on? please help!

None of the included apps can be deleted, which includes the Notes app and the iTunes app. If you have Restrictions enabled and iTunes turned on as a restriction, the iTunes app will not appear. There is no restrictions option for the Notes app.
If you don't have Restrictions enabled and you have double checked within evey folder and on every home page, on your iPhone go to Settings > General > Reset and select Reset Home Screen Layout.
