I was wondering; does Microsofts desktop 2000 wireless keyboard and mouse work with the new 2011 Mac Mini? It says it requires a disk installation for software or something like that, and the new mini doesn't have an optical drive.. Please answer as soon as possible! Thanks.

If you mean the Microsoft Curve Desktop 2000 keyboard as shown here http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/b/comfort-curve-desktop-2000-for-busines s/2AH-00001 then as you can see by it showing a Mac OS X logo the answer is yes.
But it says it comes with a cd o install software and the latest Mac mini doesn't support an optical drive, so can you still use it with the ma mini without having to set it up with the disc? Please reply or answer as soon as possible .. Thanks.
Oops the wireless version is here http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-gb/p/wireless-desktop-2000/M7J-00020 however it too is Mac compatible as you can see.
If you have another Mac with a CD drive you can use that, however try the following webpage which has a download option for Mac.
