iPhone Carrier not being displayed
In the upper left hand corner, my iPhone isn't displaying my phone carrier; "Verizon," how do I get that back?
iPhone 4, iOS 5.0.1
Does it not work, or is it just not displaying?

I mean my phone still works, it's just not showing up, & I'm not sure what I did.
Go to Settings > General > About, what does it say?
If everything displays correctly there, my advice would be a soft reset. Hold the home and power buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears.

Umm under network..it says "not available" but then under Carrier it says "verizon 11.2" but ive tried holding down the 2 buttons twice..

If neither of these work, it's time to pay Verizon a visit.
But I am a bit curious... can you screenshot your screen and upload it here. Hold down the same two buttons as before but this time release them immediately. Just a quick tap at the same time.

Well, if this was a big deal, I might recommend a full restore from iTunes, but it's not that big of a deal so I would talk to Verizon.
Yeah i'm not upset about it, I just wanted to know what I did or how I fix it..but, if Verizon can't help me, looks like i may be doing a full restore! but thank you again!
