iChat not connecting

iChat no longer connects to either my me.com account, my Gmail account nor my AIM accounts. I get the following message from iChat regarding this issue:

"iChat lost the connection to the me.com (Gmail, AIM) account.

A network error occurred."

I know my Internet connection is fine. Being on port 443 does not help the problem either. Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks!

Hi,

The default Server name in Lion for AIM logins is:- api.oscar.aol.com

Earlier versions used login.oscar.aol.com which sometimes showed a leading s when using the SSL option.

I would start by Deselecting the SSL option first and seeing if it will login.
