I turned on iTunes Match on Day One and it worked like a dream.
On Friday, I plugged in an older iPod which came back from repair - from the pre-Match days.
It moved a bit of "purchased" content from my iPod to the iMac's library.
It was at this point that iTunes Match started misbehaving.
It gets to the end of Step 1 and gets stuck or stalls.
Now iTunes Match is re-visable in the column on the left, the syncing wheel spins and the genius wheel spins.
I have checked the forums.... but none of the proposed soultions work.
Move the "SC Info" folder (found at /Users/Shared/SC Info) to the trash, restart OS X Lion and iTunes Match should work properly again. Hope this helps!"
turn off iTunes match, enable genius, let it finish, then turn back on iTunes match"
OK, I have now fixed this...
I learned about:
and deleting the "iTunes Library.itl" library file in my iTunes folder.
Export your playlists first then reimport them!
