ISDN and iMac Terminal Adapter

I have just purchased an iMac G5 (20 inch) and also a Hayes ISDN USB Terminal Adapter to get connected to the internet.

I have installed the TA software but when I connect the TA the iMac does not seem to pick up the hardware. I get a diagnostic message that USB interface has failed.

I have tried a couple of things:

different USB port(each port is working with other devices)
different USB cable (that was working on other devices)

I have also connected the TA using the same cable to a Windows machine and it was recognised straight away.

Anybody that can advise I would really appreciate it - by the way I am a new Mac convertee from Windows so not that familiar yet with the OS.

Thanks

I'd suggest you try asking in the iMac G5 area. This forum is for the new Intel-based iMac and so perhaps not the most likely place for you to get a quick and accurate response.

Good luck.

Oh, and BTW, you'll want to change your profile to correctly reflect the version of Mac OS X your system is running. The iMac G5s do not and cannot run Mac OS X 10.1.
