Session has timed out prevents me from downloading music or using genius
iTunes message "Your session has timed out" prevents me from purchasing music from iTunes store. Also, prevents me from turning on Genius

Have you tried loging out of your Apple ID and loging back in? Can you browse the iTunes store?
