Screen Shot on IPad2 using OS 5.01 (9A405) previous method of pressing method of pressing

Home and Sleep/wake buttons simultaneously does not work. Any suggestions?

This is still the method you are supposed to use. Make sure you are holding them down at the same time and release immediately, it should just be held down for a breif second. You may have a problem if this doesn't work...

It still works for me on 5.0.1, briefly pressing both buttons still takes a screenshot.

You could try a reset and see if it works after the iPad has restarted : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
