All computers will need the SAME apple ID. The same way as you would with one computer
Sorry Ana is right.
Have same id in both still nothing, if anna is right than that is stupid but will deal with it.
There is nothing "stupid" about only being able to sync with one computer.
Do you have a legitimate reason for wanting to sync with multiple computers?
The majority of the time, the reason people want to sync with multiple computers is to gain access to media that they have no legal right to. For example, syncing music off of a friends computer.
If your reason for syncing with multiple computers is something related to email or contacts, it is very likely that this can be done over the air instead of needing to physically plug the device in.
You may or may not be aware (I'm guessing not, judging by your reply), but some people actually have more than one computer. For instance, I have a Mac desktop and home and at work, as well as a MacBook Pro and MacBook, and for me it would be incredibly handy to be able to sync with all three computers. Having my devices backed up to only one computer doesn't feel great, and there are plenty of times when I'd like to be able to sync it with apps I've downloaded to one or the other computer.
If you got off your high horse for a moment, you might actually see that, so instead of being so presumptious about peoples illegal usage, you'd understand that when people pay for a device, there are certain ways they would like it to work - syncing with multiple computers being one of them.
Frankly, I do not care what your reasons are.
Apple does not allow syncing with multiple computers.
Your gripe is with Apple... address it with them. If they see a benefit to allowing syncing with multiple computers, they will make changes to iTunes/iOS to allow it.
Until then, the restriction exists, deal with it or find another device that suits your needs.
It's pretty obvious that you don't care, so why are you trolling on this thread in the first place? People come here to find answers, not to listen to people like you who think they know better than everyone else.
My gripe is as much with you being so high and mighty as with Apple for not allowing this kind of functionality. At least Apple has some reason for their policy, but you, I'm pretty sure you are here just to troll.
People wanted to know if they could do this, not to have you judge them and tell them there was no good reason for asking, which you were quite obviously wrong about as well.
Yes, you can sync your device with multiple computers. Only that one is set to AUTO SYNC whilst the rest is set to "MANUALLY MANAGE MUSIC".

However, issues may occur leading to data corruption or data loss if you regularly sync Contacts, Calendars, Notes, or bookmarks between multiple computers using iTunes and your iOS device. Syncing once to move your data to a new computer should not cause these issues.

I have a MacBook Pro through my college, and I have all my iCal items on that computer, but I have all my music, apps, etc. on a PC desktop that is my personal home computer. I am wondering if I can sync my iPod touch with my MacBook for the iCal items and also with my PC for the music and such without loosing either of the two when trying to sync with the other computer?
Apple is just like our socialist government, they think they are big brother and have to protect us from ourselves. No thank you, Apple, switching to Android on next phone!
