List of installed apps on iPhone

Do you know of any way that I can list all the apps that I had installed on my iPhone (not just the purchased apps)? Can this be done through iTunes or something?

iPhone 3GS, iOS 5

Since this question it the first one that comes up when searching for how to get list of installed iPhone apps I figured I would add what I found for anyone else who comes by this. This method did exactly what I wanted, and since the new iTunes doesn't show phone apps anymore, that wasn't an option for me.

if you're using a Mac install "Apple Configurator 2" from the Mac App Store. Choose your device while connected via USB and go to "Actions->export->informations" in the top menu bar. Then you can choose which details like installed Apps, serial number, etc. you want to export as csv list (you can open in Numbers e.g.)

if you go to /Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/some_generate_numbers/info.plist it contains a list of all apps in a weird format eg:

<string>com.dashlane.dashlanephonefinal</string>
<string>com.adobe.PSMobile</string>
<string>com.toyopagroup.picaboo</string>

but you can make out most of them. In order to show library you must enter the command:

chflags nohidden ~/Library/

in terminal article here: http://osxdaily.com/2011/07/04/show-library-directory-in-mac-os-x-lion/

I know that it has been a long time since anyone responded on this one, but I thought I would find what took me FOREVER to finally get working. Now, this works on PC, so I can't speak to the Apple solutions above which sound like they work a lot easier - but on PC, this has been a huge hassle. So, here goes:

In ITunes, select the device's apps you want to show (if you just select my apps or apps, it'll show all devices synced to this installation of ITunes). Once you have the apps displayed (and in the latest it shows a ton of icons - not very user friendly, but this'll work. Go to File -> Print and select Songs, not the other ones - just Songs. Once you hit OK and it gives you a print screen - this is where the trick is. Select Microsoft XPS Document Writer for the printer and check the Print to File check about midway down on the right. Click Properties next to the Printer section and then select the XPS Documents tab in the new window. Make sure to check the box marked Automatically open XPS documents using the XPS viewer. Click OK to get back to the print screen and then hit OK again. When it asks you where to put the file - put it in a directory somewhere and make sure to add the extension .XPS (NOT RTF or TXT) - this part is key - otherwise it keeps showing up as garbage. Hit ok, and your file gets created with all the info you need in alternate shaded rows in a portrait format. Mine ended up being 37 pages just for Apps on my phone - but I FINALLY have a printable page with everything I need.

Hope this helps -
