setting up a wifi printer
Hi my imac and other acs print wirelessly to a Epson Stylus SX425W but my i pad dosent sem to recognise the printer any help appreciated.

All is not lost! You may want to try one of the universal printing apps, such as Printopia or Print Central. These may work with your setup! Check the app store for other printing apps. Not as clean or elegant as AirPrint, but you will be able to print!
I am in the same boat. Purchased Epson Stylus SX435W which IS on the list of supported AirPrint printers. However, that is a false claim. Epson's european website incorrectly lists this printer as Apple AirPrint compatible. I don't know who to blame here, but this printer does NOT support AirPrint (and iPrint is not the same thing, certainly not as convenient; their description of "iPhone compatible" is a little misleading, iPrint just means there's an app you can download and print from, but that doesn't enable printing from any other apps).
I am very upset about this and only hope, that this will be fixed by future updates.
