I had an ipod touch that i lost in the winter in the snow. It froze at temps of over -40F all winter and i found it in the spring, in a puddle. I left it to dry overnight and tried plugging it in, nothing. Now i did put it in a bag of rice because the rice will absorb all the moisture, and like a miraicle, the next day i plugged it in and it worked! Sometimes you cannot save things from water damage. But my friends phones and ipods went through the wash and i tell them to put it in rice overnight or longer and about %70 of the time it works. I dont know if its just luck, but from my experience i'd say try that. Leave in rice for about 24-48 hours and then plug it in and see what happened. If it doesnt work you can take it to a geinus bar and have them take a look (maybe at a cost) but theres places online that you can sent it to and pay to get it fixed (if fixable).
Let me know if the rice works!
