Why is my iPhone contacts changing when I change my iPods contacts when they are on the same iTunes?

I have an iTunes that my iPod and my aunts iPhone is on and i have an iPod and it was syncing prefectly with iCloud and my aunt has a iPhone and ever since i updated her iPhone after I updated my iPod everything went wrong. All 150 contacts on my aunts phone were gone and all mine were too so i tried to sync my iPod with iCloud and iClouds contacts wont change no matter how many times i sync either of our devices it wont work. and its really ******* me off and i need help ive already made an apple appointment and im on the phone with them now but i would like ti to be done sooner. So if anyone with the same promlem could help me that would be awesome!
