Black Friday Order Delays?

I'm new, so please excuse my lack of knowledge to the Apple world since I've never ordered from Apple.com. I ordered an ipad2 32gb from the Apple online store on Black Friday and I'm still waiting Monday evening for it to leave the factory. The deliver date says November 29-30, which would be tomorrow or Wednesday, but I see where it still says "preparing for shipment". Just was wondering if anyone might have some insight. Appreciate the help!

If you all could let me know when you get yours in, I'll be interested to see when you all get yours. I don't know your locations, but I'm in North Carolina so I expect mine to be here later than someone on the west coast or the central if that's where you all are at. I checked a few minutes ago and I'm still getting the same messages as you all are when you posted, so I guess it is due to unusually high order volume from Friday that there are delays. Oh well, guess we got no choice but to weather this storm out.

Well, I read a couple of articles today that said Apple was forecasting 4x their usual sales for the day with iPods/iPads/iPhones and they exceeded the forecast projections by 7pm friday night. So, unless they have as many cargo ships sitting off the west coast as they did during D-Day in Europe waiting to come in with iPads, exc., we might be waiting a while.

The plot thickens, my friends! I did not recieve the iPad today, and in fact I noticed that it was at the FedEx warehouse YESTERDAY (Tuesday) not today, as I previously thought! Then, a few minutes ago, I recieved an email from Apple saying this:
