No there are only resellers and they only sell phones with a contract. I dont have an address in Denmark so cant buy a contract. Not that I would buy from the cheats any way.

though if you expect Apple to open retail stores in other countries just so foreign travelers can buy unlocked iPhones, I think you're just going to continue to be disappointed.
And continuing to post complaints about Apple policies will do nothing but get your posts removed by the Hosts and yourself banned if you persist. These forums are for technical support; policy complaints are explictly prohibited per the terms of use to which we all agreed.
Tim I am not trying to be unfair I just want them to know this kind of thing is not good for the customer. I just want to buy a phone not a contract you can do it in Scottland so why should they not be able to do it here in Denmark?
Because Apple has no outlet of their own in Denmark other than the online Apple Store, and the cell carriers understandably want to lock you to their services. If you can't order online, then just wait until you're back in your country of residence.
Yes thanks for that but you are still missing the point no one else needs to tell me to wait until I get back to the UK I understand that as it was me that made the point that I can not do any other. I will continue to make these kind of posts so the point is highlited. The point is still that the Scandinavians can not buy an I phone over the counter like we can in the UK or US. My question is should this be the way it is in a free market. My opinion is obviouse. What is yours roll over and let this kind of thing just go by or do a bit of moaning and try to make things change?
Whilst it is true that there are currently no Apple retail stores in Denmark, the same does not apply to Sweden. If you live in Copenhagen a very short bridge crossing to Malmö will give you access to an Apple retail store. I buy all my Apple products there and never had any problems.
After more than a year and half, I would imagine that the original poster has long since decided what to do. But perhaps someone who is looking for information about buying an iPhone in Denmark will happen across this thread and find your information useful. Regards.
