A bunch of saved alarms disappeared

Had a bunch of saved alarms in the clock app, edited some last night, set 3 for this morning. They all went off, but then all my saved alarms were gone. What happened? iPhone 3GS iOS 5.0.1

I had the same problem this am. I have 4 alarms set in my phone. One daily, one for saturdays and one for sundays. The 4th was not turned on. After i edited the 4th one & hit save, all the other ones vanished. So I quickly re-set them up. After all that, at the time the one i edited was supposed to go off, IT DID. i know it was the original one due to the name i gave it. So now what? My phone shows 4 alarms, but now i possibly have 3 other hidden ones?? this is very annoying and there doesnt seem to be an answer to our problem. Nothing else had changed. I plugged in my phone to charge last night as I always do. My regular daily alarm woke me up today. No updates happened. I want my alarms to reappear. Because now what it looks like is that tomorrow (Saturday) i will have two different alarms going off at the same time. ARGH!

Somebody somewhere at Apple must know about this bug (or at least its potential) because there is a fix. It's not elegant, but it does the trick.

Create at least one new alarm. Then delete all the alarms. There seems (in my experience) to be a clean-up process that happens when you delete the last alarm, it removes all of the "hidden" ones as well. This is either good programming by a paranoid programmer or a tacit acknowledgement that the problem does exist and that this is a workaround to solve for it.

Happened again this morning. Alarm was set for 5:50 am, but I decided that was too early. So I edited the alarm for 6:30 and then forgot to hit "Save." When I woke up at 7, I pressed the home button, entered my password and it returned to the alarms page (where I could see the unsaved 6:30 am alarm.) I set it for 7:15 am and pressed Save.

It went off correctly at 7:15, I silenced it somehow (not snooze) and pressed the top button to turn off the screen. Then I realized I ought to re-set it to 5:50 so I pressed the home button, entered my password and it took me to the World Clocks screen of the Clock app. I went to the alarms page and it was blank again.

I'll try to be more mindful of what I did just prior to them disappearing next time they all disappear. I probably had 9 alarms that I need to recreate.

Me too! I'm running and iPhone 3GS iOS 5.1. I had about 20 alarms in my list. Maybe 7 of them turned on. I edited one this morning, it took me back to the Alarm screen and they're ALL gone! Just a blank screen.

This is the second time it has happened to me. It happened about 2 weeks ago too. I've only just activiated iCloud Calendar 2 weeks ago. Could iCloud have anything to do with alarms getting wiped?

(Note - I'm not referring to event reminders for calendar items, but alarms in the Clock app, like everyone else in this forum.)

This just happened to me. I have (or had) maybe 20+ alarms. I use this for everything. Went to add a new one, hit save, and the whole bloody lot disappeared. I can't believe it. I can't remember what they all were, that's why I set the alarms to remind me! I am going to be lost for days now wondering what I have forgotten. I am never going to remember them all. This is pretty much a disaster for me. Thanks Apple. 3GS, iOS 5.1.1
