How do I backup my game data on my iPod Touch 2G?????

I'm getting my iPhone 4S next Friday from Verizon and I wanted to find out if there is a way to backup the game data on my iPod Touch 2G. It's outdated and can't run iOS5 so I can't backup my iPod Touch to iCloud. Thanks for the help!!!!!
