how to restore my disabled ipod touch

My daughters Ipod touch is disabled because she forgot the password, and she has a different computer now, and can't synch it to the original computer. How can I restore this devise? Thank you.

Backup device

While device is connected turn off

Then hold down power for 3 seconds

Then without releaseing power hold down home button for 10 seconds

Then without releasing the home button release the power button. for 15 seconds [or until iTunes says device needs to be restored.

This restore is a little different from other restores as is restores ROM firmware the OS and user and system data.

If this does not resolve the problem try redownloading iOS 5.

You can't backup an iPod that is in disabled mode.
