Nov 30, 2011 12:34 PM in response to fedebarby PAHU,If the authentication is required by the printer and not the print server providing you access to the printer, then there should be a setting in the driver that allows you to enter the necessary account details.
But if it is the print server you need to authenticate to, and your Mac is not bound the AD - which would be one way to authenticate - then you will need to create a print queue with your domain account information. This can be done via the CUPS web interface (http://127.0.0.1:631) and then creating a Windows queue.

This is a response that I recieved from Ricoh tech support ...
The PostScript drivers [for either Windows or MAC OS X] do not support Windows Authentication. The only form of authentication that is supported by the PostScript drivers is User Code Authentication.
Thank you,
TSSC
Ricoh Americas Corporation
I would love it if they include LDAP or Windows authentication in their OSX drivers ... this would be an awosome feature but I have requested this over a year ago and I don't sense any tracktion from Rioch or its dealers. If your don't own your copier and about to renew your lease contract, I would look at Xerox!!!
Best,
