I am working on a school project. I haven't used iMovie in a long time, I only opened it the first time I got my Mac book Air. When I click the Icon, a grey box pops up in the middle of the screen. Nothing is popping up. The top bar is apparent. When I click the buttons, like start new project nothing happens. Help fast, for my presentation is tommorow. If not it is okay.

Try running Software Update.
You mean update to 8.0.6, I did that already. Here is the pic, you have seen it before?
I haven't seen that before, but the general steps I would take...
1) Reboot your Mac
2) Reinstall iMovie
3) Reinstall OSX
That can be complex, expecially reinstalling OSX, so you may want to call Apple and have them walk you through it. It is free if you are under warranty or have Applecare.
How to reinstall?
Click the at the top left and select "Shut Down".
After it shuts down, wait 15 seconds and turn it back on.
Was iMovie preinstalled on your Mac?
If so, you need the OSX disk that came with your Mac. You can insert the disk, but do not reinstall OSX (yet).
Select the Utilities menu on the install disk, and look for iMovie.
If you bought 8.0.6 at retail, you can reinstall from the retail disk.
iMovie isn't loading.
