How do you connect your Macbook Air to an Apple TV?

Hello, I just received my Macbook Air and Apple TV both all updated with the latest software available. I've set up both perfectly fine, until it comes down to connecting the two Apple products. My iPad 2 and iPhone 4 are perfectly fine picking up my Apple TV from wi-fi, I didn't know how they did it since it was automatic, but it works pefectly! So I tried all my home sharing and ect. on the apple tv and on searched Airplay on both, though they can't seem to pick up each other. I'm still am getting used to both products and how to access certain things. I've tried my best, but now I' online asking; How do you connect your Macbook Air to an Apple TV?

TO CONNECT THE APPLE TV,

if you are refering to the connection between Mac Book pro and Apple TV,

one the must important thing, is you need to be connected to the same internet conection for example same connection that your Mac Book pro is connected to Modam you have to connect with the same passward to same Modam.

then open the Itune in your Mac Book pro, then select the option Adanced from top bar baner in your secrean then choos Trun ON the Home Sharing ( you be signed in to your Itune account though first in your Mac Book pro )

let me know when try the above,

best
