guide to EXSP24

The EXSP24 is a complex tool that I have not grasped how to use. I have been looking for some sort of documentation on how to really use it and cannot find any (a search in the Logic reference only refers to it)... can someone please direct me to a guide/manual/tutorial that discusses the EXSP24?
Currently I can load the stock sounds/samples and the respective sounds, but I'm confused about all the knobs/sliders/parameters... I tweak a few parameters and barely get a change (if any) in the sound that is loaded. Suggestions?

I recall a separate booklet on JUST the plugins in Logic. I know there is one for Pro, thought there was for Express as well. Certainly a PDF version is on the cd. I'm fairly sure that goes into more depth about each plugin one at a time. Other than that, run down to Borders or another book store and see if any of the Logic Pro books talk about it. Although now that I think about it, you might not find too many books at a store. I have the Pro 7 Power book, I'll check it out. The Express version is virtually identical in interface and included sounds, just different in the fact that you cant add your own samples like in the regular EXS24 (P of course meaning "player").

LE EXSP24 doesn't have the full functionality of Pro's EXS24, but there is some overlap.
