Can you please tell me how to plug my Optoma PK301 to my macbook pro ?

Hello Everyone,

I just bought a portable projector, Optoma PK301, that is suppose to suppose to support the apple and pc. However when I plug it in, nothing happens.

What does this mean? Am I suppose to go to the system preference to open file share? or something?

Please advise.

Thanks

Desperate.

The manual ***** like ****. Does not say much how to adjust the system preference in the Mac. But I got an answer from the Optoma guy. For the iphone 4 and new Mac book pro 15"... you got to buy the female VGA connector from the Mac store... that have different head ends. I got an older mac book pro 17" and they supplied the VGA connector already.

Now you have got to go to the system prefernce and choose "Displays"... and hit detect displays. It will scan and a screen will come out. Hit the select button and it will appear on the projector- your desktop.

If it does not, go and call the Optoma tech support:

Customer Service / Tech Support

However, the pdf that has movement/ movie will not work. Links will open in the internet.

Hope this helps.
