Why can't I download Xcode 4.2 for Snow Leopard?

I also get the access denied (am a paid registered dev as well), and as of today at least, Xcode 4.2 for Snow Leopard is NOT listed on http://developer.apple.com/downloads/index.action

Turns out I needed to accept the latest developer agreement, once I did that then the access denied stopped and I'm now downloading Xcode 4.2 for Snow Leopard.

I accepted the new agreement but still do not see XCode 4.2 for Snow Leopard on the link posted just earlier version i.e. 3, does it exist?

had the same problem. thanks to bogatyr, you have to accept the latest developer agreement, but finding where it is, is a bit tricky. i went to ios provisioning portal and it greeted me with the latest agreement. went back to download section and i am downloading the xcode 4.2 for snow leopard right now. thanks again bogatyr. you must be a paid developer i think to download the snow leopard version.

Finally managed it. I signed the new agreement but I still couldn't see it on the downloads link above but when I went to the iOS deveopment portal and it was now listed there and available to download.

Hi, i buyed xcode 4 from app store, then cant find the 4.2 update for snow leopard even as registered developer, email veryfied and so; the link to the download (https://developer.apple.com/downloads/download.action?path=Developer_Tools/xcode _4.2_for_snow_leopard/xcode_4.2_for_snow_leopard.dmg)

return the same error message (page denied blablabla).

Yeah I went to https://developer.apple.com/devcenter/ios/index.action and logged in with apple developer id. Then under the downloads section , you will see "

Xcode 4.3.1 for Lion" with the hammer and blueprint icon. Directly under THAT there is a link that says "Looking for Xcode 3 for Snow Leopard?- Download." I clicked on that link and was finally able to get it.

It is free as far as I could tell and is a 4.1gb download.

Then under the downloads section , you will see "

Xcode 4.3.1 for Lion" with the hammer and blueprint icon. Directly under THAT there is a link that says "Looking for Xcode 3 for Snow Leopard?- Download."

Please note that the question is how to download Xcode 4.2 for Snow Leopard, not how to download Xcode 3 for Snow Leopard.

I am also unable to download Xcode 4.2 for Snow Leopard. It does exist, but currently the Developer Center only lists downloads for Xcode 3 for Snow Leopard. The direct download link for Xcode 4.2 for Snow Leopard also gives me an "Access Denied" error message.

That page has Xcode 4.2 for Lion, and Xcode 3 for Snow Leopard. It does not have Xcode 4.2 for Snow Leopard.
