troubles with saving currency value in templates

Just realized than when i save a document as a numbers template with table values set for Euro I get my national currency when using this template. Any ideas how to work this around, because it's so annoying to change all the currency each and every time. Help appreciated!

Question already asked and answered.

My own workaround is to split the column in two.

One contain the numerical value.

The other one contains the currency symbol.

Define the format of the vertical border between both columns to None and you will get the wanted result.

I know, it's boring to waste a column for that but as end users like you, we can't change the app's behavior.
