Final Cut Canvas is black - I can't see my movie project!

I have no idea what happened? Can anyone help me out, I'm starting to freak out here! 😟

Shane's Stock Answer #15: White or Black Canvas or Viewer


Make sure the canvas or viewer are selected then go to VIEW>CHANNELS and set it to RGB. It might be set to ALPHA.


OR...


Click on the drop down menu above the Viewer or Canvas and make sure that you are on IMAGE or IMAGE + WIREFRAME.

I can hear it, but I can't see it. I have a variety of media, but only my most important Pro Res HD clip is black. the other clips I can drag in and wiew perfectly.


Please help
