i am facing problem while updating my iphone to OS4.1 ... Unknown Error or cannot connect to apple software update... 😟

wat is the problem? is apple update server down today or their is a problem with my iPhone ??

iPhone 3G, iOS 3.1.3

All servers may be down from time to time, either for regular maintenance or because of various other problems.

iOS 4.1 is not supported by Apple anymore. For iPhone 3G the supported firmware is iOS 4.2.1
