No more Force Feedback drivers

It seems that Apple, Inc has removed the Force Feedback drivers for Logitech controllers in Lion. This came as a surprise to me when I was trying to use my Logitech RumblePad 2 on a PlayStation emulator. I specifically bought a Logitech Force Feedback controller because I was under the impression that they would work with Mac OS X. I can partially see the reason behind this: the previous Logitech Force Feedback drivers were only 32-bit, and the other Force Feedback driver was only PowerPC. I was able to get the old drivers from a 10.6 Time Machine restore point, but this isn't an ideal fix. I tried contacting Logitech support, but they said that they had no plans to support Force Feedback for Mac OS X. I guess the only controllers that have Force Feedback for Mac OS X are the third-party Xbox 360 controllers.
