Apple id password change

Since changing my apple id password in itunes, my mail isnt working on my mac. It is asking for my MobileMe password and it will not accept either the old password or the one I just changed. My Outlook on my work PC will not work now either. I switched to icloud for my iphone and my ipad but my iMAc is too old to upgrade to Lion.

Please advise.
