My volume control is "stuck" on (headphones) so there is no sound. There are no headphones attached...I did not have headphones attached
for 1 week...Anyone have an idea how to "fix" this and get it back to normal?
Tried this as you suggested, but still on "headphones". I plugged in..listened to music, un-plugged about 5 times.
Turned phone on/off...twice. Any more suggestions. FYI- it worked fine last night..turned it on this morning and
it was on Headphones..
Let me know if you have other suggestions...

try resetting the iphone by pushing the home button and the power button for 10 seconds intil you see the apple logo then try to play music and then call someone and if you still can not hear out of the phone or speaker then try a restore the phone to factory settings!
Plug in some headphones, use it normally, then unplug them, play some music again, repeat as needed.
Clean out the headphone jack with a vacuum and/or tweezers.
Try plugging the headphones in/out 10-20 times.
