iTunes Match = down?

Was listening to a genius playlist this morning when it stalled trying to load the next song. Exiting iTunes and re-launched, and now my Music library shows the dreaded lightning bolt iCloud icon, meaning iCloud is offline.

Anyone else seeing this?

My iTunes match is also showing a lightning bolt as well.. it has been there for 3 days now and I've tried several things.. Apple suggested that I turn iTunes match off and then back on.. Upon doing this, it asked that I add my computer to use the feature.. I did that and once it finished updating my iTunes Match library it kicked back over to the lightning bolt.. Then I tried just updating iTunes Match by itself and the same thing happened, upon finishing went back to lightning bolt.. I need a fix cause I no longer have my music on my laptop to conserve space and am paying for a service that I am unable to use.. any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated..

Love the service very much, just hate not having it.. lol

powellwrj,

When I originally had the problem this thread mentions it was due to iTunes match being down. Since then, though, I've had instances where iTunes match couldn't connect (this is on my work computer so I don't have any songs on it to begin with) but when I sign out of my store account (Store->Sign Out), sign back in and turn iTunes match back on I have full access to my library online again.

Maybe completely logging out and back in will help?

I hope this solves your problem, I know how annoying not having your music can be!
