Hi, i need help please. I bought the unlocked iphone 4S in USA on internet, and im from venezuela, but when i put the sim card, it does not recognize. Please anyone can help me?

The only USA internet site you could purchase an unlocked iPhone 4S from is the Apple online store (http://store.apple.com/us). If you did not buy it from there, it almost certainly was not an officially unlocked iPhone (since there cannot be many, if any, out there for private re-sale yet).
It's not an unlocked iPhone. The only place to purchase an unlocked iPhone 4S in the US on-line is from Apple.com. You can only do this if you have a US credit card and US shipping/billing address.
If you bought it from somewhere else, you got ripped off. Try to return it for a refund and buy one where you live.

what carrier are you trying to use? Movistar and Digitel are the only supported carriers there. In addition, if the iPhone 4S has not yet been released there, you may have problems with existing micro-SIMs. Problems have been reported around the world with old SIM cards not working correctly that seem to be cleared up once the 4S is launched in that market and new SIM cards become available.
I use Movistar. And here in venezuela movistar sells iphone. Casual, i have a friend that have an unlocked iphone 4S purchased in Usa, and she use the iphone here in venezuela with movistar and work very good.

What about just going to your carrier and trying to get a new SIM? It might just be the SIM itself is bad, and just getting hold of a new one will set things right.
No.. because i put the sim card of my friend's iphone in my iphone and it didnt work, and i put my sim card in her iphone and works very good, then is not the sim card. I have to say that i went to and apple store here in venezuela, and they put a sim card from USA (AT&T i think) and it works very good.
Well then, it looks like you have hit a wall. IF there is a problem with your phone, you will have to take it back to the US to get it serviced. The warranty is not international.

That just does sound like you have an AT&T carrier-locked iPhone then. If you are sure you ordered an unlocked one, then you somehow need to contact Apple in the USA and take it up with them if they did not ship what you purchased. The only phone number I know though is the USA-only 1-800 number, so you'll have to go to the store site and find how to contact them from where you are.

It's possible to purchase an iPhone 4S without a contract, but locked to AT&T and it is now possible to purchase an unlocked iPhone 4S.
WHEN did you make the purchase? I can't recall the exact date that unlocked 4S's became available to order, but it was very recent.
