Palm Desktop Software for OS 7.1 Mac Intel

Please check the model designation.

If it has an Intel processor, it would be a MacBook Pro, not a PowerBook Pro (not sure if the designation PowerBook Pro was ever used).

And, if it is an Intel processor model, it can not be running OS 7.2.1. Nor even OS 9.2.1. It would need to be running some version of OS X - the first ones shipped with OS X 10.4.5, the latest ones with OS X 10.7.2

And whatever the answer to Don's question, the answer is no. The last Palm Desktop update for Mac was version 4.2.1 rev D in 2003. it's a PPC application so Snow Leopard (with Rosetta) is as far as it's viable.
