iPhone + iPad games?

I will be purchasing an iPad 2 soon, since there are usually 2 different game applications for 1 game, example: Fruit Ninja for iPhone and Fruit Ninja HD for iPad, will these two apps have the same highscores when played? What if I'm on the train playing with my iPhone, get a highscore, with that also show up on my iPad 2's Fruit Ninja highscore when I sync both to iTunes? Thanks
