My iPod 2nd generation is disabled and needs to be connected to iTunes (Connected already) But when I plug it in, a msg on my Laptop says, "Cannot Sync," and that i need to unlock the iPod, but i cant because its disabled. Can anyone help?

My iPod Touch 2nd Generation is Disabled. The mesage on my home screen says "iPod is disabled, connect to iTunes." But recently I have sold my old laptop that had all my iPod backup on it, and I have purchased a new laptop. I have iTunes downloaded onto my new laptop, and I have Authorized it with my Acount ID and Password. But, here's my problem, I have never Connected my iPod to my new laptop, and done a Sync. And when I connect my iPod to My computer with my iTunes up on my screen, My laptop trys to Sync into my iPod and a msg box appears on my screen saying that I need to Unlock my iPod before I can Sync. But I cant because of it being Disabled. CAN ANYBODY HELP ME?
